Congratulations to the athletes and a huge thank you to the parents and others who participated or supported the RIM All-Star Program in our first year!
The 2010 season ended with a lot of success! Our 12 year old boy's team finished 3rd place beating a California team at the AAU West Coast National Championships in Las Vegas! Our High School boy's team finished 4th against a tough Connecticut team! The experience of playing with and against some of the best competition in the country was incredible for our Montana athletes and we are excited about next season and the expanding RIM All-Star Program. We want to make the opportunity available to more athletes!
RIM ALL-STAR TEAMS!
What are the All-Star tryouts, regional and national tournaments all about?
RIM is the only program building multiple statewide youth all-star teams to compete regionally and nationally. Top athletes from each clinic this summer currently in grades 7 thru 11 are selected and invited to attend the elite RIM All-Star tryout clinic next spring. Being invited to the elite all-star tryout gives you the privilege and opportunity to compete against some of the best same age ball players in Montana and surrounding states. If you are chosen at the elite all-star tryout as a "best of the best" RIM All-Star, you could be invited to compete against some of the best players in the United States at regional and national tournaments! Most college coaches would agree that playing against the best competition is what helps you become your best.
The All-Star Teams don't interfere with your local school teams or travel teams, but add to their programs to help you become a more equipped all around, year around player.
